Deer

I remember the time when just seeing a deer in the wild was a real treat. Now don't get me wrong I still like to see wild deer running across an open field, emphasis on running, hopefully away from my garden. Since we moved to the country many years ago, the White-tailed deer population has exploded. Garden and crop damage have risen steadily over the last 10 years, not to mention the increasing number of deer-auto accidents. Both their numbers and range in North America are on the increase and show no signs of letting up.
